ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY DETECTION OF HEAVY METALS (COPPER AND LEAD) IN DIFFERENT VEGETABLES OF DISTRICT GORAKHPUR, U. P. INDIA

Vegetables are very important in the human diet because it provide many nutrients for our body. Different types of industrial effluents, chemical fertilizers, municipal waste, and pesticides have resulted heavy metal accumulation soil ultimately vegetables. Exposure to metals by consumption contaminated vegetables its toxicity is a serious concern human/animal. This present study reveals different The bioaccumulation lead was higher mustard leaf (0.435 mg/kg) spinach (0.593 Gida (0.605 Nausad. Copper potato (1.743 Nausad, whereas value found Taramandal (2.410) Mohaddipur (2.214 mg/kg). These could be hazardous beings their health. Furthermore, strategy policy should devised control those that hyper-accumulators identified awareness purposes.
